Projec­tion

The sculpture consists of three horizontal iron girders extending beyond the edge of the slope.

At the end is a large granite stone, and on top of this, balancing perilously, a large square iron plate can receive celestial bodies, and then send them further into space – as a basis for the sun’s further passage across the sky.

When Jean Clarebout shaped his sculptures, he mainly used three basic forms:

The circle, the triangle and the square. This is perhaps also a homage to the period of the mid-1900s, when Robert Jacobsen, being a modernist artist, was also concerned with the many variants of the abstract basic forms.

The placement of the sculptures makes experiencing their interaction with each other possible from different viewpoints.
